The guy behind the camera
Raised on Spielberg, Zemeckis and Saturday night VHS.
I'm Lou, a Birmingham filmmaker, cinematographer and producer who grew up on 80s and 90s cinema: films with real texture, real characters and images that stayed with you long after the tape ran out.
Nearly twenty years in, I've lit and shot commercials, music videos, short films and documentaries for Land Rover, the RSC, Adidas, Huawei and the BBC. But the camera is just the pen. What I care about is the story: character, tone, and images with guts.
